Morse Code - CW - A1A - The Original Digital

Known by many names, used daily by thousands of your fellow Hams world wide - its CW!

If you have been putting it off saying, as soon as I get done with this project I am going to learn CW, or maybe as soon as it gets warm I am going to get back to learning the code. Or, maybe - I have never thought about learning and using Morse Code but I think it might be interesting and a challenge that appeals to me.

Now is your chance. Throughout the winter months Rich, KØGSV, will be teaching CW on the air each Thursday evening beginning about 8:15 PM (right after a short net that begins at 8) on the 146.610 repeater which is linked in Illinois to the 147.255 repeater. Please join Rich - listen and learn this wonderful mode of communications. Watt for Watt it will give you the most signal distance from your radio system and it is used each day by thousands and thousands of Amateurs all over the world. Its for Rag-Chewing, DX chasing and contesting .. but its used.

Don't limit yourself in this wonderful hobby .. spend a little time each week and learn a new language that will give you maximum satisfaction. If you have questions or are unsure and want to talk a little about it send an email to info@slsrc.org and we will help get you motivated and going.
